The Midterm 2018 elections came and went…uh…are still coming, everywhere, all over everything so watch your eyes. The D team took control back of the House of Representatives. Nancy Pelosi promised a tone down of the rhetoric when “they win” but so far, it’s as bad as ever. Florida, of course, unable to be normal for anything is in the news. Three of the elections were so close that they are in a recount. Matt Caldwell was declared the winner of the Agriculture Commissioner but has since been overtaken by Nikki Fried. Rob…Ron? Desantos? Him. He is the new Governor! Oh, uh, yea, that one is also probably headed to a recount. Of course, Rick Scott, who spent over 20 million dollars of his own money to get a job that pays $174,000 a year won his race with Bill “I’m not wearing a Halloween costume, that’s my face” Nelson. Except no, that one in is in a recount too and he’s suing Broward County over possible election fraud.
This isn’t the first time Dr. Brenda Snipes has had election drama. In May, a judge ruled she illegally destroyed ballots. Somehow, she still has her job. Of course, the D’s are just saying they want all the ballots counted, that’s it, nothing more to see here but you can’t blame the R’s for being suspicious of just finding all these ballots just laying around. It’s sketchy, that’s all I’m saying and if you don’t think so, you’re an ideologue, plain and simple. So we’ll see what happens, no matter what happens you can be sure that we will be the one’s to pay the price.
