Rays First Base Coach Ozzie Timmons Clocks Fan Chugging a Brewski

You have to love this years Rays team, they’re exceeding expectations, winning games, lights out pitching, everything you could really want. It’s been a while since they’ve been a contender. The other thing I like about this team is that they seem fun. They’re young and energetic and just seem like they’re having a good time playing the game. That’s what Joe Maddon brought to the table and this coaching staff seems to have that same kind of feel. Let’s ask Ozzie Timmons, Rays First Base Coach who clocked a fan chugging a beer during the Miami trip last week.

#HMB 254 - Cashing in on AL Manager of the Year & Judge Kava-Naw

This week on the podcast I get into why Kevin Cash deserves to be the Manager of the Year in Major League Baseball. It’s pretty simple really, he’s changed the game forever. The Opener is now going to be apart of the game as other teams adopted the strategy and the expectations of for the Rays were so low, they almost doubled their projected win total and nearly squeaked out that second Wild Card in a very competitive AL East. They would have won just about any other division in the MLB. Very impressive indeed, thanks for a great season, Rays!

Then, of course, we have to get into the Kavanaugh hearing. It’s so frustrating with how divided we are here in this country now. The Culture War is Civil War II and it’s fought almost entirely online. I hate it. Anyway, have a great week, cya later:
